I hope everyone is okay!
Last week I was walking through the center of Pipa, when I saw that a circus performance was taking place in Praça do Pescador, in the center of the neighborhood. Of course, I went to watch, since street culture is something that, as an artist, I make a point of valuing and honoring. Upon arriving, I soon saw that the square was full of children and families waiting for the performances.
Art and culture should always be shared, to fuel critical thinking and the desire to go beyond imposed standards. We are always told that we cannot go further, but art inspires and shows that we can go much further than our limits. Surely some children there left wanting to learn to dance or wanting to hang from a ribbon in the heights and do acrobatics. And that's what art is, inspiration. Even more than that, an awakening.
In these moments I take the opportunity to photograph as I want, representing art with my art. I couldn't just record, since the photographer is not just a documentary filmmaker but a channel for transmitting the artist's (photographer's) gaze, telling the public what this gaze sees.
In the images, a little long exposure and double exposure, represent the movement and its stages or its speed. A little bit of the public's joy too. A mix of techniques, as one alone would not be enough to represent the events of the night in images.
To the artists, always thank you for sharing their expression and giving theirself to the public. I would also like to thank the public for their attentive eyes and prestige for the art.

Espero que todos estejam bem!
Semana passada estava passeando pelo centro de Pipa, quando vi que estava acontecendo uma apresentação circense na Praça do Pescador, no centro do bairro. É claro que fui assitir, já que cultura na rua é algo que, como artista, faço questão de valorizar e prestigiar. Ao chegar logo vi que a praça estava cheia de crianças e famílias esperando pelas apresentações.
Arte e cultura devem sempre ser compartilhadas, para alimentar o pensamento crítico e a vontade de ir mais além dos padrões impostos. Sempre nos dizem que não podemos ir mais além, mas a arte insipra e mostra que sim, que podemos ir muito mais longe que nossos limites. Com certeza alguma criança ali saiu com vontade de aprender a dançar ou com vontade de se pendurar em uma fita nas alturas efazer acrobacias. E a arte é isso, inspiração. Até mais que isso, um despertar.
Nesses momentos aproveito para fotografar como quero, representar a arte com minha arte. Não poderia apenas registrar, já que fotografo não é apenas um documentarista, mas sim um canal de transmição do olhar do artista (fotografo) contando o que esse olhar vê para o publico.
Nas imagens, um pouco de longa exposição e dupla exposição, para representar o movimento e suas etapas ou sua velocidade. Um pouco da alegria do publico tambem. Um mix de tecnicas, já que uma só não seria sufuciente para representar em imagens os acontecimentos da noite.
Aos artistas, sempre o agradecimento por compartilhar sua expressão e se doar ao publico. Ao publico tambem o agradecimento, pelos olhares e prestigio a arte.
