First stop... Houghton Lake

Going Up North!

Recently I was asked to film a friend's wedding on Bois Blanc island. It was going to require that I spend the weekend up north, and of course I said yes! Being the diligent photographer I am, I took lots of pictures to share with you guys, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed the weekend taking them!

Waiting on the ferry...

Ferry Time!

In order to get to Bois Blanc island, you have to take a ferry. The island is all privately owned, and they literally have one gas pump on the whole island! It was a super cool place to film a wedding for sure, especially when the couple decided they were going to get married on a sand bar!

Leaving the harbor...

And we have arrived!

Just a random "Tin Man" in the woods...

The siding on this house is actually made from White Birch, where the island got it's name...

The beach in front of where I was staying for the weekend...

This is a random piece of driftwood with a mining drill grown into it that was on the beach...

Happy American Independence Day!

This was at the ferry dock, and I feel it was appropriate to end this post with this photo. Hope each and everyone of you are safe, and enjoy the weekend! I will post the second half of these photos soon!

As Always, Thank You For Reading!
