I have always been obsessed with close-up and macro photography. The first lens that I bought (besides the kit lens) was my Tamron 90mm Auto Focus 1:2.8 Macro Lens - Model 72E. I really like seeing all the detail that is not always clear when you look at things with just your eyes. All of the imperfections and even some signs of rust starting to appear. I have been experimenting more with focus stacking to bring out even more detail in my photos that is just not even possible through traditional means.
my setup may not be pretty, but it got the job done.
Thank you for checking out my post.
You did a marvelous job getting that perfect focus-stacked macro shot. I find all things are more interesting viewed close up like that! Thanks for showing the setup too. I almost didn't believe it was your image until i saw the second one. hahaha Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much, I want to do a lot more behind the camera shots and maybe even some tutorials in the future. Sometimes for me, I feel more inspired by the behind-the-scenes than the actual photo. It really is amazing what you can do with a fairly simple set-up.
Yes, i think the creativity starts with the artist and then 'filters' down and out through the tools. For most people they just want to see the final outcome but sometimes it's the process or journey to get there that is more greatly appreciated.
Tutorials would be really cool. I think the before and after stuff is interesting also. Showing a variety of outcomes based on settings and lighting etc. is cool for people that don't know much about photography and even for us that do! =) Cheers
