We heard some music and children's voices singing at a school behind us and the next moment this little guy came running across the sports field of the school.
Come and have some fun in here today. Not often that one can see a sharp animal entrepreneur grab an opportunity, but if you don't have a ticket, then you can't get the bus. This little guy had much skin in the game, and he was fast enough afterwards so that they could not tan his hide. Just a bit of wordplay and come to watch the action.
There are two role players in this story.
Sly, the Gray Squirrel.
And,
Ginny, the Guinea Fowl.
But the school's security guard saw him and shouted, Thief, Thief :)
Shocked that someone saw him and gave the alarm, the thief dropped the cake. He was going to run away.
But then he reconsidered and decided to take a few quick bites.
I can understand his reasoning, as that piece of cake looked very nice.
So, a few more quick bites.
The cake was so nice that he decided to take it with, as he scampered out of there.
Sadly, he dropped some evidence in his hurry as he jumped over a fence.
Ginny was on his way down from his office on the roof to report the thief to the school's principle. He shouted after the thief. Run little devil run, just know that we are going to get you. :)
Yep! That little squirrel certainly knows how to grab an opportunity. So many of us have regrets about one or another opportunity that we allowed to pass us by. Opportunities that would have been life changing if we grabbed it. I have a few misses of my own, but I have accepted it and moved on thinking that I would not let the next one slip.
But that's the thing, as now the opportunities are as scarce as hen's teeth. The best opportunities to grab and to work, are the unexpected ones. A sudden idea pops into the mind and one can work the idea by starting small. I know of big corporations that were started in a guy's garage at home. So, this is the message today, when an opportunity appears grab it and work it. Just make sure that it is totally legal :)
I hope that you have enjoyed the fun and the pictures.
