An old decrepit leaf, shown in a sunset.
At the end of the day, another new day will emerge, and it's always what we do with the new days that matters.
As usual I was standing outside having a look at the sunset, and my wife came to show me an interesting leaf that she found below our lemon tree. It is amazing to see the old skeleton of a leaf, and I decided to show it to you here. My wife is a very artistic soul, and she is forever fiddling around in the garden. But she loves to do things like that, and that makes me happy, as it keeps her out of my hair:))
Just look at this, a perfect skeleton of a leaf.
The madam decided to show you the stages of a lemon tree leaf life cycle. Fresh at the left, and old like me at the right.
And now, let's have a look at the sunset.
This one below looks like a big bird behind the tree.
Finally, the day was done.
We have a friend that was diagnosed with cancer, and he had a chemotherapy treatment that put the cancer into remission. Then he decided to use every minute of every day to do something good for others. He realized the importance of time in his life, and the value of helping the poor. We are all time wasters, chasing after the wind of riches and self-importance, until the time in our road becomes endangered, by a serious illness or an accident. But it need not be so, if we would realize the value of time. Time is freely given to us to look after ourselves, and to look after all others, but that is not at all like the world of today. May we get the best out of our leaves, may they provide nourishment and shade to others, and may their substance be substantial!
Take care and live for others.
I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.
