The train travels from Cape Town city to the Elgin market in Grabouw.
I have also included shots of the weird cloudy days here now.
So, I wanted to do a post on the steam train journey, but I have done one sometime before, and I decided to just share some random photos in here.
In case you haven't seen the previous post about the steam train journey, you can see more HERE
There is so much on show here by taking short drives, and one is rarely disappointed. Always something going on, and most of it is a pleasure to the eyes. Certainly, a great way to relax and to empty one's mind of everyday worries, such as health and other issues. I find that it helps me a lot to forget about the troubles of life, blogging on hive is also a great help.
But I talk too much, so let me show you some pictures.
This below was just a pretty summer photo that I decided to include.
Two more shots of the train passing through the suburbs.
There are about 16 train coaches behind the engine that it has to pull over the mountain to Elgin.
Look at the sky as the wind sped the clouds along early morning.
Some great news is that you won't believe the beautiful sunset photos that I got of those dotted clouds later in the day. I will not show them here, as my camera battery is on charge, and I cannot download the photos from the camera, they are worth a full post. Maybe I will share the photos tomorrow.
We had to go and see what the cloudy situation was on the mountains.
A lovely contrast of colors by the elements.
So, that's it for this post, and the plan is to share more of the cloudy shots on the mountains sometime. Like I said above, I will show you some drastic sunset photos tomorrow that were conjured up by a strong wind and the clouds. Don't miss the post, as you will also be stunned when you see the workings of nature.
I hope that you enjoyed the story and the photos.
