We were nearing our destination, and stopped at a farmstall.
It was the same place where I got the lizard sculpture.

The place is called The Creative Hub, and we saw many arty creations here. We were ten kilometers out before the town of Ceres, and travelling from the Cape to Ceres, this place will be on the right-hand side of the road. Now this place is not an ordinary farmstall, as it is situated on large ground on the lower slopes of a mountain, and I think this is where artists gather to display their creations.
So, come and take a walk around with me and bring your camera with.
This was the first view on the road.
The wife went inside to get us some coffee, as we had come a far road and we were thirsty.
I snapped a quick pick inside the shop.
While my wife was waiting for the coffee, I did a quick exploration of the art works.
Look how this windmill was redesigned into symbols of peace and gratitude.
That lion is at the front of the shop next to the road.
It was time for us to go, and madam waved a goodbye to all of you.
On the road again towards our destination.
A problem that I have lately, is that I cannot sit for very long. The lower two vertebra in my spine are almost non-existent anymore and if I sit for long periods, it sends cramp signals down to my legs. So, every few kilometers we have to stop for me to get out and stretch my legs. The one good thing about it, is I can then also take photos of the surrounds. It was on one such occasion that I got the Aquila eagle, that you saw in a previous post. I used to push straight through, even on very long distances, such as non-stop from Johannesburg to the Cape, and also to Namibia and Zimbabwe. Those days are over now, and I am glad that I can get lovely photos on this stop-and-ride business. I should have done it a long time ago, as it gives a person ample time to take nice photos.
Such is life.
