Now what was the gecko couple looking at?

No, not what you think, as no one can dream up something like this.

They were watching an air show high above our house.

I have been grounded at home for a week, as I picked up a contagious stomach bug and the doctor didn't want me to come in contact with other people. So, I obeyed as best that I could, and thankfully I could sit outside in our front garden. Luckily the skies are active here, and I think that the show that you will see in here was meant for me. I have often seen this plane maneuvering elsewhere at a distance, but now it appeared high up above our house. Sadly, too high to get the plane on video, but I managed to get some shots of it on my zoom.
Come and look.

What? An upside-down plane? I wonder what the gecko's thought when they saw this :))

Swirling, flipping and diving at high speed.

A real daring kamikaze pilot.

It really looked like the plane was dancing in the sky.

These new stomach viruses appear out of nowhere and so many people are temporarily flattened by them. Common remedies do not work, and one has to see a doctor. Thankfully a costly medical solution was found, but it doesn't work instantly, and one has to endure the painful stomach cramps. The one thing about the medicine that I am happy about, is that now I don't awake at 2 or 3am anymore in the mornings. They say that the older persons get it worse, and I can tell you that it is no fun at all. So, all that one can do is to suffer until it wanes. But I am of the kind that I don't allow pain to interfere with my work or with my photography habit.

It was really exhilarating to watch this pilot doing his maneuvers and I took a lot of photos of his actions. So, I don't know what the geckos thought about it, as they ignored me :)

I hope that you enjoyed the pictures.
