And my first present is an official 80 Rep.
Then in two months' time it will be my 7th year birthday on Hive.
So, all things seem to be falling into place, and if I was a betting man, my numbers would be 70-80-7, but I am not a betting man. I thought that to get to the 80 Rep was going to take forever, but not so, as hard and persistent work finally got me there.
Now I have never laid some, or any of my stats out before, but I am doing this to show all of the newbies that it can be achieved. Yes. It is possible for each of you to do the same, as long as you are prepared to build and to hold. (Buidl and Hodl).
Look here below how this guy was skiing up the mountain.
Hahaha, no, he was in fact speeding around kite surfing.
Another surfer also joined to have some fun.
Now that blue cloud turned out so great much later, and I will show it to you in the last photo of this post.
See the white streaks of sand on the beach? Well, we did not have a pleasant wind blowing, and let me tell you, that if a bunch of that sand connects with your cheek it feels like a thousand bees are stinging you.
As we were leaving, I wanted to show you the dunes next to the road, and how the wind whipped the palm tree and that sign to the left.
At sunset, we travelled up to my new high spot to show you the clouds on the ocean.
So that's what it is. Nature has been doing this forever, and it continues to amaze one with its beauty. That's why it is so essential for us to follow the example, by just slogging away and sharing our passions in posts every day. I am one of the lucky ones that have several passions, but mostly nature and wildlife. I don't see this as work, as I enjoy photography. I am mostly self-taught, and I stay away from editing programs. I like to put the things out there the way that I see them. They tell me that practice will make perfect, but I am most definitely not perfect. So come on, all you new young ones, and also the new old ones, don't give up hope and just continue going and moving ahead. Remember, you will never move ahead if you keep on taking money out, so build, build, build. Remember, we were once in exactly the same situation that you are now. So, it can be done.
I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.
