Just look at that smile, and this really made our day.
The little lady hankers back to the past in the 60s, and she dresses the part.
We were having coffee at the premises of an art cafe, as on the same premises is also a school for disabled little children that Papillon supports. And so, a lady rocked up with the two little Chihuahua doggies, and I took a few shots of them. The smaller doggy dominated the action, and maybe she thought that she was some kind of a rock star, or a groupie, as rock music dominated the 1960's.
A band called the Beatles made all the news headlines with their music, and many other bands, such as the Rolling Stones etcetera sprung up with their own versions of rock music. It was also the time of the Woodstock festival, and a new peace based on freedom changed the world. A Battle of the Bands competition was also invented, where many of the popular bands would compete on the stage for the prize of the best band.
Heady days those and I was fortunate to be a part of it.
But now, let me get back to the doggies.
Sadly, her companion was not interested in posing for any shots.
But of course, the little lady hogged the limelight.
Oh yeah, she was really very interested in the photos, and she smiled happily when I showed her the photos on my camera :)
We all know the saying; Hitting two birds with one stone.
The saying simply means that instead of performing two tasks individually, the two tasks can be performed at once.
In this case there was a water sprayer in action to wet the grass.
You can see below how the wind moved the spray around.
But in between the wind blasts, the sprayer settled down to perform its double task.
As the sprayer was also washing the cheetah sculpture at the same time.
Just some fun photos in my post today, to show the other side of life for a change. This world has turned into a terrible rush, and every new day continues to make matters worse. In the meantime, time has also sped up, and everything continues in a race to nowhere. A real toxic madhouse, especially with all of the wars breaking out and the angry weather patterns. Some say it is global warming, and a concern is that all of the icebergs are melting.
So, I say like so many others that it is a really mad world and if something doesn't happen then even worse will take place in the future. In the meantime, we prefer a simple life by helping those who cannot help themselves, and we try our best to avoid all the hassles. Not easy, as food prices have skyrocketed, gas (petrol) prices are reaching ridiculous prices, and everyone is trying their best to cope.
Such is life.
