Whenever we arrive at a new pace, we love to explore interesting buildings, as quite often we find something exceptional inside, and this one below was no exception. So come let's go inside and see what we can find.
I promised to show you something very special, and you will see what it is below.
We are now here at our destination in the small town of Montagu, and for some reason that restaurant in the first picture. Just had a strange attraction for us, so we entered for coffee, and it was the best thing we ever did. Why? You will see.
This guy, below, rings a bell in his cage every time that a new customer enters the building. I made a video of him ringing the bell, that I will show you in another post.
The owner of the restaurant has a veritable zoo in his back garden and look at this beautiful pair of Macaw parrots.
And this is the something special. Watch what happened.
But then, what is this? I don't know what happened to the mother, but here we have a little orphan and an even littler orphan sitting in a box.
Oh, then we saw that it was feeding time. The littler one first.
And then, the bigger one.
The littler one got some more food.
And then the bigger one complained.
So the bigger one also got some more.
Then the owner's dog wanted to see too. The owner doesn't know what specie the smaller one is, but the bigger one is a baby Macaw.
Then finally it was nap time again.
And so, how often have you seen this? Did I tell you it was something special, or what? Over the years, we have also had to feed the smaller birds that people brought to us, but we never had anything as fancy as this. It was so great to see how lovingly the owner of the place, took care of the two little ones. This is the reason why we like to explore the little towns, as there are so many genuine and interesting people that live in them. They seem to have a different outlook on life. Warm-hearted, friendly, and always smiling, regardless of the trials and tribulations that they have to endure. So, we respect them, and in fact we respect everyone. As this life is given to all of us to walk through in the journey on this earth. And, it is what we sow what we shall reap at the end of it.
I hope you have enjoyed this discovery and the pictures.
