It rained heavily in our village today. But the rain didn't last long. Our village is located in Gayo Highlands of Aceh Province, Indonesia. After the rain eased off, I left the house walking on a path while enjoying the atmosphere after the rain. I was taking some photos around there, after that, I went home and I drove my car to the clinic to serve my patients.
I took some photos on my way to the clinic as well. Some photos that show the atmosphere of the road in my village after the rain eased off. The road was not really wet, but the air was freezing.
I also took a picture showing Mount Burni Telong, a volcano in our district. The peak of Mount Burni Telong was covered by the clouds. The height of this volcano is 2624 meters above the sea level.
It’s a great spot for hiking and climbing, but I never did it yet.
Btw, when I was walking on the path before driving to the clinic, I was taking some pictures as I cited above.
I shot some fallen leaves. They are totally wet. And the grasses were wet as well. I could smell floral aroma around there.
The rain water was also stick on the leaves of the grass. They are like the dew.
I found also an empty cigarette box on the ground. It’s soaked by the rain. I didn’t know who threw it there.
But you know, I was surprised to find a plant stuck on trunk of pine tree, named lichens. They are not wet at all. I don’t know why. I guess it’s due to their small leaves and got so close with the trunk. The rain didn’t touch them.
Those are some photos I took after the rain eased off in my village. I really love to enjoy the atmosphere after the rain. I could smell nice floral aroma and enjoy the cold air.
