I love the film scale in photography, I like to change colors from natural. As if it needs to be explained? There is nothing in the neutral color that comes out of the camera. There is no emotion in it. And it's embarrassing.
The gamma in the frame (especially so noticeable) creates a subtle mood, makes you not examine and analyze but perceive the picture as a whole. And that's the goal.
And the color also reacts to the scale of the shooting location and, of course, the main character of the shooting. And it's not just about appearance, but also about how I feel all this, and the psyche, and nature. There is a degree of subjectivity in this, but on the other hand - you also feel what is happening in the frame, right?
