It's Easter weekend and I've got 4 days to fill with stuff... so hopefully we're going to have a day up at Cadwell Park circuit in Lincolnshire..
Now, I have a choice to make... Do I go to shoot cars or bikes? or both?
The Last time I went was nearly a year ago and shot bikes, and thoroughly enjoyed it, (the cafe was great as well!)
It was the first time I'd shot motorbikes round a track, and think I did alright considering it was the first time for nearly 10 years since I'd shot any kind of motorsport..
Took over 2000 images and the vast amount got filed under cr@p... but the ones I did keep, I'm more than happy with.. Think I have to give thanks to Canon and the focus tracking on the r6 which no doubt helped my mediocre at best panning skills.
I try to edit these in a simlar vein to the aviation stuff, I'm aiming to make these a bit arty / portrait like but while not going overboard and taking away the realism of the shot.. As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them.
The weathers looking decent for the weekend (apart from monday...) so lets hope we get some nice light, dry tarmac and tasty food!
