Nature can always change the course of our plans, especially when you live in a tropical country and it is rainy season. The day can dawn super sunny and without a cloud and suddenly the sky can turn black with thunder included.
Even though it was cloudy this morning, I was confident that it wasn't going to rain, I had to go out to buy some things, but as soon as I set foot on the street, a few drops started to fall. I don't have an umbrella so I took shelter in a small shopping mall until it it stopped raining, about 10 minutes later, and then I kept walking. I didn't get very far, the rain came back and I took shelter in the entrance of a store that had a small roof.
I was like that for a long time, walking and sheltering from the rain from store to store, until the rain stopped, but it didn't last long, and this time a real downpour began to fall, how clean the streets will be! I thought... Fortunately, I found a large roof in front of a building nearby and ran there.
I was stuck for about half an hour, and during that time I took these pictures of what was going on around me. The rain wanted to be the protagonist today, so I let myself go.
La naturaleza siempre puede cambiar el curso de nuestros planes, y más cuando vives en un país tropical y es temporada de lluvias. El día puede amanecer súper soleado y sin una nube y de repente el cielo puede ponerse negro con truenos incluidos.
A pesar de que estaba nublado esta mañana, confié en que no iba a llover, tenía que salir a comprar unas cosas, pero apenas puse un pie en la calle, comenzaron a caer unas gotitas. No tengo paraguas así que me refugié en un pequeño centro comercial hasta que escampó unos 10 minutos después, y luego seguí caminando. No llegué muy lejos, la lluvia volvió y me resguardé en la entrada de una tienda que tenía un pequeño techo.
Así estuve un buen tramo, caminando y resguardándome de la lluvia de tienda en tienda, hasta que escampó, pero duró muy poco, y en esta ocasión comenzó a caer un verdadero diluvio, ¡qué limpias quedarán las calles! Pensé... Menos mal que cerca encontré un techo amplio en el frente de un edificio y corrí para allá.
Estuve atrapada aproximadamente media hora, y durante ese tiempo hice estas fotos de lo que pasaba alrededor. La lluvia quería ser la protagonista hoy, así que me dejé llevar.
