Hello friends :) It has been a VERY stormy week in my area. With the storms came buckets and buckets of rain which is quite unusual for my little corner of the world. It rained for 2 days staight and then off and on for the next day and a half. We got approximately 50-65 mm of rain in those few days 😮
We had a couple of thunderstorms before and during all the rain. I have been waiting for this kind of weather so I can watch the sky, listen to the thunder and snap some photos!
I took all of these photos from my farmyard at various times over 4 days. There was no need to travel anywhere to get them ;)
The rain was a welcome sight. Farmers rely on rain, there is no irrigation for them out here.
I took this photo of an erosion crack at the end of May this year. It appeared last year though! The area was is in drought conditions and threatened the livelihood of many agriculture & livestock farmers.
