Back to the lake. Getting back into our routine after Christmas and travels. The lake is an important part of that routine.
The lake is the same but always changing.
The patterns on the lake are a mix of ice and reflections this morning.
The sun is also returning since we are past the winter solstice.
But still not up really when we go for our morning walk. Before the sun rose, the water was a smooth melding of colors.
The light started to show the remaining ice.
