Curvy

Happy #fungifriday 🍄 I was out hiking last week and took some mushroom photos.

Pop top

The emphasis was on photography.

Sideview

Not on foraging or identifying.

Standing tall

Mushrooms are great photography subjects.

Gills

I usually only look for a few types that I forage.

Flower

I shot photos of anything that looked interesting, like this flower shaped mushroom.

Cracked Top

The texture on this one caught my eye.

Emerging

I liked this shot that captured the pine forest floor. Mushrooms, pinecones, pine needles, and moss.

Scaly

Here's another mushroom pressing up through the pine needles.

Slanty

Classic look.

Turkeytail

Turkeytail is always picture worthy.

Flaky

Lots of different textures in this pic. Hope you enjoyed my mushroom photography post.

Thanks @palomap3 and ecency 🙏🙏

It’s our pleasure!

I see you found a nice edible green cracked rusulla. Its one of the few mushrooms that can be eaten raw. I suspect some of those bolete might be bitter boletes.

Green cracked rusulla is not a mushroom I'm familar with... darn I should have grabbed some.

I've only found them a few times, when they first pin they look amazing with a really bright green cap. Then the color fades over time.

You found so many, nice selection 😊
Beautiful captures!

Thanks. I was hiking near a waterfall which makes for very good mushroom habitat

You are welcome 😊
Oh that sounds like a perfect spot.

All the photography is very beautiful. Mushrooms are rich in nutrients. Good luck to you.

Thanks 🙂 I do forage for mushrooms some but not on this hike.

Yay! 🤗
