We walked a different route this morning and were treated with some sunrise colors. A bit subtle with the cloud cover but still nice.
My usual picture of Mount Moosalamoo is looking northeast.
The sunrise is all the way over the south end of the lake this time of year. Although my wife says the days are all the way back up to nine hours 🙄, the sun is still on the southern horizon.
Our snow was briefly interupted with some rain and warmer weather.
I tried a different location for some reflections.
The mill pond on the Leicester River. I call it a mill pond but it actually feeds a small hydroelectric plant now. The river powered several mills throughout history but they are gone now. Clean power is a good thing though 🌞
The reflections are better with snow in the trees. I'll be back later in the winter to check it out again. Interesting color in this photo from the fall leaves under the water 😆
