The Maldens vlak is a 15 minutes drive with the car from my home so if the weather is good enough we often go there for a walk , it has a great variety of vegetation and thus also a great variety of mushrooms and wildlife.
The red oak is the only one with coloured leafs the weather has been very mild for the time of year at night the tempartures are still above 5 degrees celcius .
During world war 2 this area also played part during operation market garden
Map of the area we didn't walk all of it , the rest we can do another day .
there is a rouote around the glider field but that takes too long for me at the moment .
i thought about posting this image in #featherdfriends but without the live sample that would be misplaced i think :) will go back hoping to find more birds but will have to bring the 150-500mm lens for that .
on the right side you can see the yound red oak trees almost no leafs left and on the left it's the normal oak tree still fulllly green.
preserve nature any way you can , lay the bicyclepath arround the tree rather then cutting it down .
one very big mushroom +/- 30cm in diameter
Some leafs starrting to fall way to late for the time of year.
As you can see even inside the forrest trhere is still loads of green trees , ussualy this time of year alll leafs should have dropped already.
and then you see these massive mushrooms on a tree trunk
really big ones and some smaller on the side
and even on this dead tree you can see small mushrooms
well thats it for today hopefully the weather will be nice again soon so that i can go out and take some more pictures.
