Hi friends,

Welcome back at my post.
What times are we going through?
This question leaves a lot to explain.

We humans are never satisfied. Especially here in Suriname.
When we had rainy weathers, everyone wanted rain to stop as the floods were too high that people their homes were underwater. Now the rain has stop and the summer has begun everyone is crying and shouting that they want some rain!

We go through heavy and very hot temperatures here.
Some people who work outside can't even do their job.
We are adviced to keep ourself hydrated, wear good clothes as this sun is too much to handle.

After all, this season is for holidays.
Schools are free and that's the reason to party hard in Suriname.
Plenty of wedding and other events are planned in this period.

So not to clash with planning of music and other things they want, people plan parties also in the afternoon.

So this pictures are taken in the sun at 3 pm.
They just party in the sun.
Here you can see a group of women coming with sweets and brassband music to a party.
This is a celebration in which they bring sweets for the host.

Yes the sun is bright, but smile for a photo...

You can see all the small eyes, who get lots of light...

There is no other way for me to take a picture in the sun. I have to do with those small eyes.
