Viraj & Anisha Picture

Meet this Surinamese couple Viraj and Anisha.
They are currently living in the Netherlands, because of their study and work.
It's so that Suriname doesn't have a great econmic situation right now.
The poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer.

There is just a small amount of people who are rich.
Surinamese people now mostly work only to eat and live.
You can't do much with your money. For example a vacation or building your own house is not possible anymore, because the money you earn is equal to the expenses. If you don't tighten your expenses your salary won't be enough.

Because of this reason most people with Bachelor and master title are going abroad.
There you can earn better. It's so that people in health care, teachers and other are going away just to settle somewhere else.

So that's a little bit about them and why they are in the Netherlands.
Now about their pictures.
The first one was with a lot of fog. There was a fog machine.

I was lucky to get such a shot, but the man who was filming did stress a lot.
You couldn't see their faces and more because of it.

The other pictures are just traditional pictures.
