A bit of color splash for Mono Monday
Well another week begins and I normally start the week with some mono images, but today I am doing a little different, parts of the images are mono, but i went with a color splash or selective color in each of these imagees
Now I do like Mono for some subjects, but I have always liked images with a splash of color and I thought about that this morning, at the weirdest of times, while doing a supernatural workout and one of the scenes in a workout I was doing made me thing that would look cool with a splash of color and the rest mono, so I headed up to my PC after the workout and looked for some images that I thought would work well with selective color edits and here they are
Starting with this old Globe at the Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum, a museum we went to last year and really enjoyed learning a lot of the history of New bedford.
The image itself in color was OK ish, and it mono it really didnt work, but I quite like how it came out with just color for the globe

Next up was this jeep I saw one morning at Fort Tabor, the reds really caught my eye so I focused on them in this edit

Now we are at the pier at the end of the Harbor Walk, again I focuse don the reds, and takes out eyes from all the left over trash from someone letting off fireworks there the night before, this was back just after the 4th of July last year, the trash left behind did annoy me, how hard would it have been for people to clean up after they were done, but at least wit this edit the trash doesn't grab our attention so much

And a sign by the Pond in Buttonwood Park, and someone clearly lost a shot while walking there and someone sat it up below the sign.
Now I have lost things on a walk but neve rone of my shoes, how does one loose a shoe when out for a walk"?
