A few boat shots from around the port, taken last year

I have bene out and a bout for plenty of photo walks recently, so much so I have bene struggling to find the time to edit photos, so for todays post I am sharing a few shots of boats in the Port taken over the last year or so, that were sitting in my edited but not posted folder, and I though I may as well share a bunch of them today to clean out that folder a little.

Stating with this view at the port that I pass every time I visit the port, now the view itself doesn't change, and often the same boats are there, but the light, and clouds are always different and that's how I justify to myself for getting a shot of this view on each visit to the port and on this day they were nioce soft puffy clouds in the sky and reflected on the water

another spot in the port looking out over the docks some subtle colors and somewhat moody sky that morning

Some nice warm colors in the sky over the Ship Captain John this morning, now the main reason I haven't shared this shot is I have never been a fan of the name John, perhaps because it is one of the Three J's in my initials, and I name I seldom use I much prefer going as JJ :)

As much as I love the days we ger some nice sunrise colors, I think my favorite time down at the port is prior to sunrise and the rich dark blues of the morning

And sometimes one thinks there is Never Enough, or at least the owner of this boat thinks that

Hi, there
I've always loved photos of boats and these are all stunning. But I especially love the third one, the boat and the colors in the sky, it looks like paint.
Have a nice weekend :)

Thanks I seldom go out on boats but I love taking photos of them

a very beautiful port that you have taken from last year, it seems this year the port is growing and there are more and more visitors, both large and small ships.

Nice post JJ 🙂 I really like the first one with all the colors. The shots after the first one all have the feel of portraits of ships. Kind of fun. Each ship has its own character.
