A Walk at Fort Phoenix
This post was sitting in my drafts and originally going to be for a Wednesday walk post, back when I was not getting out much taking photos, but I have bene able to get out fairly often for photo walks of recent, so decided to edit it and share it today, I think I have taken out all reference to the Wednesday walk but if I missed something know this is just a standard post
Now I should preface this walk post and let you know these photos were taken a while back on a visit to Fort Phoenix in Fairhaven MA, a nice spot to visit any time of day but I particular like visiting there at sunrise or sunset when it is quieter there with not to many people.
One of the first spots I often visit in this park is this area with the cannons looking over the water

and then walk past that spot out on the walk on top of the Hurricane Barrier wall, which meets up with the New Bedford wall

and then I often pop down to this little beach just down from the area with the cannons

then I walked back up and past this spot again

across from the barrier wall walkway was this field and by the colors of the trees you can tell this was quite a while back I am sure this are is very green now
