Fall colors in the Acushnet Sawmill
Good Morning I hope all is well with you
For todays post I am going back to a walk I did in fall, when we had some lovely warm colors around and nice temps.
these shots are from a walk I took one afternoon at the Sawmill
The Sawmill, is a 19-acre former industrial lumber yard on the Acushnet River. and is maintained by the Buzzards Bay Coalitionwhich protects the river’s health and offers local residents of all ages a beautiful place to explore the outdoors here at the Acushnet River Reserve.
the trails here are not to long, The main trail is about a half-mile long – perfect for a short jaunt through the woods and by the water. Many parts of the trail are ADA accessible, so explorers of all abilities can enjoy this special place
ADA accessible means the trails are suitable for people with disabilities
Even though its not a huge park, I do loke visiting it, with views over a pond and plenty of birds inthe trees and a nice wooded area I find it quite calming walking there
And i mentioned birds, but none will feauture in this post i hear lots of birds there but seldom see them to take photos, perhaps because I am hyper and keep moving if I picked a good spot and stodd still for a while I quite possibly would see some
I also mentioned the pond, but that also will not feature on this post as I was focusing more onthe fall colors i saw on the trails
