from the port up to the historic district
Good Morning
Today I will share a few shots i had edited to use for a Wednesday walk post a while back, but havent used them in a post yet and decided to share them today, I may regret it as we get deeper into Winter that I didnt keep them for a post then, but ohh well here they are.
they are from a walk I took one morning back in early fall, and out and about before sunrise as I like to do for the times of year when the weather is nice, this time I parked down by the port, my car is parked just behind the brick building tot he right in this shot, and whenever I go there I walways stop and enjoy this view and get a shot

you may notice a police boat docked here, there is a few police and fire deparment boats which dock in this spot, I guess ready for when needed for whatever may happen out onthe water, and in the background a few commercial fishing boats
and after taking that shot I then decide whether to explore the port or cross the busy road to the historic district
and this day I decided to cross the road and while waiting for a break in the traffic i got this shot and light trail
the closed sign and light tells me that the swing bridge goign across to fairhaven is closed for road traffic and open for boats to pass, I had bene heading to Popes Island over that bridge that orning but saw the closed sign and know that means it could be 15 to 20 minutes before it opens again so instead headed to this spot
