Hazelwood Park back in Autumn

Today we are having a strong snow storm come through, the forecasts are saying we will get probably 18-24 Inches of snow and blizzard like conditions, with winds gusting to 60 Miles an hour so could be an interesting day ( I should note I am preparing this on Friday afternoon and if I remember I will check the weather reports and update this before sharing it)

Well its 6 Am and before posting this I checked the weather apps, there still saying we may well get two feet of snow, some areas possibly more
I would say we have over 3 Inches so far and the winds are picking up

So I thought since all I will see today is probably white I would share a few photos from back in fall in a Local Park here in New Bedford Hazelwood park, which is Opposite West beach, I took a walk through the park prior to sunset one evening when I walked along the beach

Hazelwood Park is a 23 Acre Park, it has many features such as a bowling green, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, a playground, picnic areas and a gazebo, in addition it has three historic buildings which I will share in another post, focusing on the warm fall colors in this post, but you can see one of the buildings behind the tree in the previous photo

Let me bounce back to today here a quick photo taken with my iphone looking into our back yard from what I read the peak snow will be starting at 8 ish and last a few hours

I felt like sharing warmer photos with the current temp here being 30F (-1C) which is not to bas compared to recent temps

I haven't been to any events there, but apparently the park does host some events and can be hired as well, I whenever I see a Gazebo Imagine a band playing there with a crowd enjoying the music siting in the field, and perhaps some also have used it for Weddings or wedding photos
