Market Friday

A post for Market Friday hosted by @dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Hive, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page.
This is the one tag and challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.

For this weeks post, I am returning to the Davoll's general Store in Dartmouth MA
I sh0owed the outside of it in this post and now I take us inside, but incase you didn't see the previous post here is the entrance to the store

The store opens at &Am, and I was there as they opened the door, in fact for most of my visit in the store there was only me and one member of staff.

When I first walked in I saw this display, and got the aroma of some fragrance, which I did find quite nice and welcoming, they have quite a mix in the store from items like t-shirts and Caps ( which I meant to buy one when finished taking photos and completely forgot to) to locally made products

Another display, the store was real nice and I do plan to go there another day with my wife as I know she would love checking out everything there, me not so much I did find it a charming place and took these photos but I am not a browser when it comes to shops, I like to know what I need get in and find it and get out generally.

Here you can see more of the area near the entrance, nice and roomy and it really did have a older times charming feel to it

More of the store, they did have refrigerators in the back of this view, but I didn't check out what was in there, Not sure why I didn't maybe I forgot about them after exploring the rest of the store

Well in this next shot it seems normal store sort of items in the Fridge Milk drinks etc,

They also have a library of books on display in the store from what I read online one of the owners hands selects them

they have a little cafe out one side which you can see here, and I will finish off this post with this image, I do have a few more but I think that's enough for this post, so I will leave it with To be continued....

Today being Children's day. I will just walk into a close by market or supermarket and get lovely chocolate and gifts for my siblings.

It's their day let's make market Friday for them.

The warm lighting and the wooden floor and ceiling gives me a cozy feeling. It's a lovely store and you have taken appealing photos of it, JJ 😊

Thanks my friend appealing and inviting are good words to describe this place, I know my wife will love it when I take her there and she will spend a lot more time in it than I did LOL

Ohh yes indeed, totally normal, if she takes to long and the store doesnt sell !BEER or !PIZZA then even though I !LUV her I may instead of having a !WINE, go for a walk to the falls just down the road from it

Very cute store. The kind where you never know what you will find. In a good way lol. Also seems like well kept store. Some of these general stores seem like they are careful merchandised once and then left to collect dust and gradually fade away.

It's a very pretty store. The variety of merchandise should have made it look impersonal or overly cluttered, but that didn't happen, the store seems very cozy and well-maintained!

Yep, would love a store like that. With lots of different items… just to wander around and see what it all is. Great you took us today inside the store @tattoodjay 😎
And the added coffee on the side, with a piano is just charming. It makes you stay a little longer.

I like to know what I need get in and find it and get out generally.

I can relate to this lol! Interesting what kind of aroma that greeted you. I do like the warm lighting and the wooden furniture and interior of the place. It does give a homey vibe. I probably would end up checking the food and spending my time at the cafe :D

This is an interesting store. Beautiful interior details.
Petunias are great flowers for designing and arranging living spaces. I like them. :)

I didn't check out the name of the store, but while I was reading through, I was like damn! That's a multipurpose store, then I went back to check the title to confirm. I like the cafe, it has this antique feeling to it.
