Mono Monday a few historic properties
Good morning and another weekend has raced on by and a working week begins for many and for me it means its Mono Monday and for this week I am sharing some photos of some of the old classic stylish and most likely historic properties here in New Bedford MA.
Now new Bedford is a good sized city with a populatoion of around 100 Thousand people, and nowadays isnt exactly seen as an affluent city or a placew where the well off may choose to live, but back in its hayday during the whaling period it was said to be the richest city in the world and I am guessing most of the properties I am sharing photos of come from back in those days

Personally I think mono works well for these types of photos as it lets us focus on the detail and style of the properties and not to get distracted by the colors
and in some cases the damage and wear and tear and the need for some upkeep on the property doesnt seem so apparent to me

This is probably my favorite of these properties I have no idea how many bedrooms it has or who has lived jere inthe past, but it looks pretty impressive and huge
Now I may say it is my favorite but it snot one I would want ot live in these days, with it being just me and my wife we dont need something so big, and effort to keep this place clean and tidy looks like a full time job to me lOL
