Mono Monday a few recent shots
Good Morning Monday is upon us again and another week begins
may it be a good week for you
As I do on MOndays I am sharing a few Mono shots today, now inthe title I say a few recent, but the term recent is relative I guess, i havent been out taking photos for about a week or so for a variety of reasons, but these were from walks just before that.
Starting with a shot of the tall ship the Ernestina Morrisey docked at the port here in New Bedford, I suspect this will be the last shot I get of it before it is wrapped up for the winter, mind you it will still be docked in this spot over winter.

And just across a road from the port is the Historic district here in New Bedford, I love walking there and getting shot sof the old buildings and belgian block streets, some I keep in color but some I feel work better in mono such as this one
With not gettign out for many walks I have had more time to learn more of the capabilities of lightroom and photoshop and try to improve my editign skills, a lot of the focus over the last week has bene more related to color edits, but I did try a couple of new things with some of these shots.
This next one called out to me to be a mono edit it had a sort of moody mysterious feel to me

Another shot in the historic district, I used to always brighten up mono shots when I edited them, but I think some work with a higher contrast and more moody feel such as this one

at the end of this street is the road I cross to get back to the port
