Mono Monday with a splash of color

Good morning another weekend has past on by and another week begins, I hope you had a good weekend and wishing you a good week ahead

as is my habit on Mondays I am sharign a few mono images today, but with a twist this week, after doing the one photo last week with a line of color, I decided to go with color splash or selective color edits today

Now I know these are the kind of photo that people generalyl tend ot love or hate, I quite like them myself but I guess that is obvious or I wouldnt be doing this post

Starting with a photo I took down at the por tone morning it was the lifesaver ring that caught my eye on one of the fishing boats so I only kept the color for that

Next up still down at the port, a view near to where I park and just kept the red of a coupleof the commercial fishing boats

Next up from a visit to the zoo, they have this little train that does a loop around someof the zoo, now I do not take photos of it when it has kid son it, but at this time it was empty and took this shot which I quite like with the selective coloring

now this next one I went back and forth on whether to save and share in this post a blossom on a tree in its lovely color and a mono background, I kinf of like this one at times and then at others not so sure, but here it is

the blossom was at the Haskell Gardens, as is this greenhouse , well this one i call the multi colored house with allits colorful panes of glass but I just kept the reads int his edit both inthe glass house but some of the tulips inthe garden

Very amazing images sir @tattoodjay I love black and white photos. Only comes with two colors but very hard to impressed people with it's simplicity.

Very cool selective edits. I like the colors calling your attention and everything else fading away 👍

That really is a cool effect, it really draws the eye to the object you want seen. No wonder it's used so much in advertising. Great pictures, I love how they cam out. What program are you using to mess with the colors?
