Popes Island Part 2
I usually do not share photos from the same spot two days in a row, but I broke my own rule on that and this post is a continuation on from yesterdays post, where I mentioned I had not edited all the photos from that mornings walk.
But this morning I got around to merging and editing those shots , and the first one I share in this post I thought for me fitted with the two challenges, namely #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

I often when I walk on Popes Island I focus on the boats and water, but as I was walking I saw these plants with a splash of color and got down low for this shot, maybe with not many signs of spring here yet, I just was attracted to some natural color.
The other thing that makes these photos beautiful and Sublime for me, was on that morning walk, there was no signs of snow on the ground, and at that stage I thought maybe Winter was done for this year.
As I mention these are continuing on from yesterdays post, and you may note from the Shutter speed settings getting lower as I go through the rest of the photos as the day got lighter.
These are the boats I shared photos of earlier in the morning but in better light where you can see them more clearly

Walking further along the Island I passed these docks

And came to this point looking toward Fairhaven and Crow Island

So I zoomed in a bit on the Island, which shows its a little bigger than it looks from the distance, from what I have read online it is privately owned and the property on it is an airBnb so people can rent and stay on the island.

Another shot of the island, at first I thought in the last photo that it only had one small building but in this next image you can make out a bigger building behind the trees

and zooming out again to look both at Crow Island, Part of Popes Island and across to New Bedford
