Star lights
Good Morning and happy Saturday
Have a good weekend
today I will share a few shots taken at various times and in different locations over the last year, the one thing they all have in common is that in the early morning light or lack of it, street and other lights created a cool star effect that I have to admit I do love catching
Starting with this shot caught in the historic district here in New Bedford the stars not so apparent in this one I guess most people would more notice the cobblestones

NOw sometimes i set the camera up with the intention of actching stars in lights and some are just a lucky result of the shot such as this next one down near the port, I was trying to catch light trails of passing by vehicles, which I did but also got some star effect in the lights of the street lights beside the road

and yet again at the port the street lights providing the stars in this one
Now it is possible to buy starlight filters that will greatly enhance catching the star effect in lights, and i did have one in the past, but I seldom used it, and kind of prefer when they come out in a photo more naturally thanusing a filter on the lens
