The Harbor walk
Good Morning and I hope your day is going well
For today I thought i would share a selection of photos of the Harbor walk her ein New Bedford MA
The New Bedford Harbor Walk begins next to the East Rodney French Boulevard boat ramp, stretching about three-quarters of a mile to its northern end at Gifford Street. Here, the harbor walk extends along the inside of the hurricane barrier past Palmers Island. At night, the walkway is lined with more than 160 light fixtures, so this is a nice spot for a stroll in the evening or in the morning pre sunrise which is when I mostly walk it
I am starting with a photo showing where the walk extends beside the wall out to Palmers Island
when the sun come sup I often walk this spot alongside the wall as often there are herons and Ibis in the water here, and occassionaly a few other birds

This is at the start of the raised Harbor walk on the hurricane barrier wall off to the right you can see a factory that still seems to be running and off the the left the water views, and from this spot I often stop and watch the Osprey and try to get shots of them if I have my longer lenses with me
