Hello and greetings everyone in the community. I hope that all of you did have an amazing weekend. Today I wanted to share another series of portraiture that I took during the Sony workshop at Kundasang last year. This photo that I took was an outdoor photos using the Sony A1 mirrorless camera and was paired with the G Master lens 50mm f 1.4 made by Sony.
This camera is indeed a beast. You can nailed the focus on the subject at 99% at the time. So on todays photos I decided to make the photo look like a film camera. I did went to review back all my old film photos at my parents home and I tried to look some characteristic of a photos produced by film. The one that I see the most was the grainy look on the photos and with a tint of warm of cold white balance. I am not sure how did it turns out like that but I think it was because of some of the chemical being used to develop the film for the photo printing. Correct me if I am wrong.
So below are some of Casey shoot with the effect of film post processing.
EXIF - 1/3200 sec | f/1.4 | ISO-100 | 50mm | 0 step exposure bias
EXIF - 1/3200 sec | f/1.4 | ISO-100 | 50mm | 0 step exposure bias
The process on adding some of the noise to the photos and the color took a slow processing during the render for the final image. It was taking more than 5 minutes to render an image with all the final touchup made.
EXIF - 1/3200 sec | f/1.4 | ISO-100 | 50mm | 0 step exposure bias
I do love the look on the final image from the render. It brings a memory back during my secondary school. I remember every time I wanted to develop a film I will keep until a total of three rolls of the film to be sent to the camera shop for it to be develop before printing and every time I will hear my dad complaining about how many photos that I need to print. It is because I came from a very regular family and printing a photos was one of the most "expensive" thing for my family during that time. Luckily my dad also love to take photo so he complained but still help me on to pay for the photo. Thank you so much dad.
EXIF - 1/800 sec | f/1.4 | ISO-100 | 50mm | 0 step exposure bias
EXIF - 1/800 sec | f/1.4 | ISO-100 | 50mm | 0 step exposure bias
EXIF - 1/800 sec | f/1.4 | ISO-100 | 50mm | 0 step exposure bias
And that is all from me today. I hope that you guys enjoy reading my post. Until we meet again on the next post. Have a great day and always keep safe. Cheers!!
