Hello and greetings everyone. I hope all of you guys are having an amazing day. Today I want to share another series of portraiture of the finalist for the Miss International Malaysia, Sabah region. I was hired to be the official photographer for their pageant week until the coronation night. It was an amazing experience for me that I am able to see how the participant prepare for the finals and slowly getting to know all of them during the pageant week.
Today's portraiture was done outdoor, nearby a pool on the sponsoring hotel, the Hilton Hotel here located in the middle of Kota Kinabalu Sabah. It was a challenge to take photos of them during this photo session because of the timing. All of them finished their preparation for photoshoot during 11am in the morning. The sun was already very harsh and there was a only a little space with shade that I can use for photoshoot.
I had one location that was a great spot for photoshoot but because of the timing, some of the contestant had to change place to more suitable area. Luckily earlier I managed to divide the group into two groups for the shoot, because they are wearing two different color on the design. I still managed to get some shoot on the area that I had chosen from the beginning.

First four that I managed to shoot on my first chosen area. As you can see at the back, the harsh lighting was very visible, but for me it was such a nice contrast for a background.
