Greetings of friendship to all my friends in the world. Friends, at around 11:45 WIB on Wednesday 24 July 2024, I found an insect that was similar to an ant. Maybe this insect is called Grasshopper ant. I found this grasshopper in Seunong village, North Aceh Regency, precisely in the yard of the Ulee Masen Kupi coffee shop, Simpang Elak.
When I wanted to hunt in another village, I took a short break to enjoy coffee. Then I left the coffee shop because the air was too hot. As I squatted down and looked at the bushes, something strange came to my mind. I also saw black ant grasshoppers sitting on leaves and moving to the rocks in the coffee shop yard. I also took a smartphone and a macro lens to photograph the black ant grasshopper.
I saw a small ant grasshopper, with a black body color and two lines on the waist of the grasshopper. This grasshopper also has antennae on its head to detect who is in front of it. Including me, when I wanted to photograph all these grasshoppers, they kept spinning in circles following my lens. Maybe in the mind of the ant grasshopper, this is an enemy or opponent who will hurt him. Even though I was just taking photos and didn't disturb him.
