Red Haired Beauty

in #hive-1949133 years ago

A long time ago, leading a nomadic lifestyle, our ancestors respected wild animals and endowed them with noble properties and great powers. But with the development of the peasantry, everything began to change.

The nature around, as well as the animals themselves, began to interfere with man. To interfere with making this world safe and convenient for those times.

Man wanted to live in a controlled world where everything is subject to him and he is the crown of nature, the master over all. Defeat the unknown, conquers the impregnable, achieves what he wants. And our smaller brothers from friends and associates began to turn into a hindrance and a threat.

In Slavic mythology, there are more than 200 fairy tales involving animals. And most often there are mentioned classic forest animals- bear, wolf, hare and fox.

The bear is strong, but lazy and stupid.
The wolf is fast and agile, but greedy and evil.
The hare is quick-witted, quick, but too cowardly.

But the fox has always been the most cunning, clever, dexterous and successful in these fairy tales. She often deceived not only people, but also her fellow animals. And very rarely caught.

And so since childhood, I have always dreamed of meeting this amazing animal. I always knew that there are a lot of foxes in our area. I saw them briefly, or friends showed successful pictures. But luck bypassed me many years. Until a year ago in the middle of summer, I didn't get to meet this beauty.

I apologize to you for such a number of very similar photos, in fact there are more than a hundred of them. She is beautiful in any frame.

Then there will be no words, only images...

These are some of the best Fox photos that i have ever seen! Great job my friend, great job!

Thank you my friend, I'm very glad that I managed to impress you a little! How are you? Preparing for Sweden? )

Yes... less than two weeks away.. and i am super nervous for the transit. But, i know it will be worth it when i get there. I hope your wife is closer to getting some art done. I finally finished that work she saw. I hope you guys are hanging in there and doing well!

Don't worry, everything will be fine. True, I haven't traveled between countries since the beginning of the pandemic, I don't know how difficult it all became, but I think all the processes are already well organized.

About my wife. Well, yesterday I shared your new post with her. And that same evening she asked to find her toolbox )))

She was very upset this morning. When I asked her what happened, she said she needed more tools. So we're going to have a little creative shopping this weekend thanks to you! 😄

THAT'S AWESOME!!!!! She looks like she has some nice instruments of art... glad she is going to get more! I'm so happy to hear that your wife is getting encouraged and inspired! That just made my day.

And yes, travelling was a nightmare during the covid stuff... and still is a bit. But things are starting to relax a bit more now. I will let you know how it goes. Tell your wife to have an artistically productive weekend. Also, tell her not to be critical of her art... and just make some!

You have an awesome weekend too my friend.

@tipu curate

Thank you so much, my new friend 😄
And to your friend- tipu 😜

Wow! Thanks @sketch.and.jam !😃

What a beautiful fox, so alive, alert and colourful. And you are right @thenortherner, the photos do not need any words. I feel sorry for all animals that only want to eat to live, they take only what they need and nothing else.
Regards and best wishes

What color combination has red hair given !! What interesting traits have you chosen for the animals?

This is great. And you got some great expressions from her. Ho did you manage to get so many photos? To have her just chill there? They usually are not into socialising right?

You are right, they are very careful, even when they live near people for a long time.
it is believed that if a fox comes out to a human, then she is most likely sick with the rabies virus. I don't know if it's true.

On this day, we out for a picnic to eat meat, I think she was attracted by the food, she circled around us for about half an hour )))

Cool. I'll take a note, when I'm in fox land, let's get the barbecue going. heheh I only saw one in the wild once in Norway, for like 20 seconds. But she was right next to us.

I love seeing the beautiful red fox. These are great captures. This one is quite thin and probably hungry. A few years ago I had one come here and eventually I could feed her out of my hand. She or he would come by the back deck every day for about a month, then suddenly disappeared. I know some people set out snares and this is cruel to animals. I wondered what could have happened to my friendly fox.

Ooh, your foxy-friend is much fluffier than mine 😍 It's amazing that he ate from your hands, never heard of such a thing, he felt your kind heart. It's strange that you haven't met again, because foxes are tied to their territory. Maybe he had to move. I'm sure everything is fine with him.

You're right, I think this fox came to us because of hunger, they are usually more cautious in these parts. We left quite a lot of raw meat when left.

I know some people set out snares

For the sake of fur, or are they protecting their farms?

I think the snares may be for rabbits but other animals get injured or killed in them. I’ve heard of dogs getting caught in them. Some mean people just don’t like wild animals such as the raccoons and skunks near their property.

We don’t have any large wild animals here, such, as moose, bear, not even a porcupine. A few coyotes on the Island now and they will kill foxes. The fox didn’t eat out of my hand right away. I left food out for him and would come out and talk to him. He trusted me and would even chase a stick like a dog would. Never brought it back though. 😊

I have a whole true story about a fox that came one St. Patrick’s day and sat on the snowbank by the back deck looking through the window at me. Maybe a leprechaun in disguise. 😆 I think this was the same fox with fluffier and redder fur in the winter. A magical night with orbs around him,

😍 It's amazing! I'm sure this is your old friend, maybe he wanted another stick. Wild animals are always fascinating, especially when they come so close to people, I like to imagine that they are like nature spirits.

I do try to help for the wild animals and birds that come into my life. They are like nature spirits except need food like humans to survive. 🤗

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend, Northman.

Damn right, we cannot feed them only our alone love. I’m becoming more and more convinced that you are Snow White 😊

Have a good weekend too, Northern Lady! Maybe you will meet your foxy friend.

Haha, I will have to call my wildlife friends after the seven dwarfs.
