In the garden - new mini-project (series of photographs) p-ii.

in #hive-1949132 years ago

It's morning here. I just finished the morning exercises. Right now I'm having my healthy and tasty breakfast, listening to the Psychedelic rock music from the 70th channel (yes from the last century). Sounds like a perfect day off? Same for me. Already hot outside. A few minutes ago I watered the plants at the entrance to my house. There are some beautiful.

The images I'm publishing here today are from the garden around my house. I photographed them during the recent weekend. Here is the first part if you missed it: https://ecency.com/hive-194913/@victorbz/in-the-garden-new-mini-project-series-of-photographs-pi

A wonderful second part, full of lovely photos!.... Thanks for sharing @victorbz friend!

thank you for the beautiful words my friend

Old school lens gives the garden a dreamy quality. The camera's inability to talk to the lens stopped me at first until you told me about using the adapter. With the external aperture, getting a good f-stop is easy. (well, easier)

Question: What is the trick on the drip? Almost has to be a down shot?

I love your garden! You make it such an adventure! Music/Video pairs nicely.

Yes, old-school lenses are the best in the quality of their build and in the quality of the images you can take with these lenses. Sure, there needs the exposure triangle knowledge, due to the fully manual nature - the Aperture settings are located on the lens, as well as the focusing mechanism. Mostly the result is not the same as you see through the viewfinder. Yesterday I photographed without an adapter, just an unattached lens that I held in one hand. I think that we spoke already about this technique. The results are even more dreamy.

Here is the original image, which I posted in one previous post, I cut it into two parts with the goal to push the attention of the visitors. Hive needs amounts of images in every post, but most people don't browse the whole series, just look at the first one. I feel a waste of photographs. Maybe their requirements are suitable for the people who snap a lot with a smartphone so no matter how many images - everything looks the same. But this rule: "Single image posts will not be curated." which is usual and even much here on Hive is not appropriate for Artists. Sorry for the morning digging :-)))))
