My pens have long run dry,
my words can't fit in a rhyme,
nonetheless, life is flowing over
the brim of this little receptacle
inside my heart.
Here I am, in an attempt
to put all the good things
in one place just in case
the sun sets and
darkness floods all over again
and by then, I'll know
which chest to unravel
and be reminded of the light inside.
Hey there! I wanted to share with you these photos I took and a short poem I wrote.
One day, I was too bored at home. It was late in the afternoon, just in time for the sun to show off its golden rays before it finally said goodbye for the day. I was sitting at our living room and got an idea to shoot the moment I saw how pleasing the light looked against our curtains.
It's quite fascinating to play with light in photography. A slight movement of the lens can make a whole difference in the scene! Also, I love the warm tones. It almost feels like a hug from a close friend.
My most favorite time of the day to shoot warm photographs is definitely during the golden hour. It feels very magical and mysterious at the same time. But as an amateur/frustrated photographer, I don't want to sweat it too much. My goal in doing photography is to capture the candid moments and let other people see the beauty I see in these ordinary things. That's why having a phone with a good camera came in handy during these moments!
I hope you enjoy these photos as much I enjoyed capturing them! 😄
