A few hours before the end of December 24th I have the pleasure to show this series of photographs where you can see that the main motifs in the compositions are Christmas lights installations in the city where I live, specifically the city of Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar state - Venezuela, a place that currently has recovered the tradition of decorating certain places in the metropolis.
It is not a day that I celebrate or that is part of my tradition, but I appreciate the fact that many families around the world get together on these dates to share a very nice time with lots of love and peace, and on the other hand what I like on these dates the occasion to see a face of the city better cared for and decorated, so I take advantage of the occasion to take some photos of these installations of lights that make reference to Christmas trees, angels and among other iconographies, such as the decoration of an emblematic building of the city in which you can see that the lights seem to be floating.
That and many other reasons despite not celebrating these dates, I think they are perfect days for healthy sharing with family or friends, and therefore it is very important for many people these dates, as well as a short time off from work to return to their activities the following year. I hope you all spend these days in total harmony and that you can appreciate these photographs.
All photographs are my own.
