Rising Star Giveaway for the OPG Community

Welcome all to the weekly RisingStar Giveaway I am hosting for the OPG community after ending the Splinterlands weekly giveaway I was running from the @orionspeakgaming account. This will be a weekly giveaway due to a busy life, to be posted on the weekend my time (UTC/GMT +10:30 hours South Australian timezone).

This is a continued way to support the #opg community, to support those that hold OPG tokens and want to participate in the giveaway whether they already play RisingStar, are still new to the game and growing or haven't played yet but want to start.

I was going through my cards the other week and thought to myself.. "I have a lot of spare cards I could do giveaways for and help out others." So then this is how this one was spawned and I have always wanted to do one for RisingStar, because the game has a lot going for it, it is easy enough to learn and get into and grow in. I find it to be gaining even more variety as time goes on to bring more to the players.

How to participate

Amount to hold depends on the amount/value of the giveaway as eventually I will be doing higher quality giveaways at time.

I will be working on a gaming contest in time, that will provide a way to win a few tokens with OPG being among them as a way to potentially earn some.
If you are currently in the SWAP.HIVE:LVL liquidity pool, you can earn OPG tokens from there as I had provided 1000 as one of the rewards! - Thanks @dynamicrypto for reaching out on that one!

As this is a giveaway for the OPG community, it will require 2 things to participate:

Holding at least 20 OPG tokens
Comment your interest in participating including your in-game name

Okay so as mentioned in the title there will be multiple prizes and this is due to the giveaways only being weekly and because I still have other gaming posts to get posted. So until I make a higher valued giveaway it will be commons for the cards as I have a nice chunk to give away.

1st place will be winning 2 cards along with 1000 starbits:

2nd place will be winning 1 card along with 500 starbits:

How are the winners drawn?

Well all eligible participants will be noted down, the list will be added to a list randomiser which will be used 3 times to shuffle the list. Then the list is put into a wheel to be spun, the 1st place winner removed and then the 2nd place winner to be drawn.

No consolation prizes will be active anytime soon for this giveaway. But there is the potential for the odd bonus draws amongst the odd rare card dropped into a giveaway.

Am I constantly playing RisingStar daily?

I do my best to at least get the Local Mini Tour Support a day, especially when I am busy and need to run something for a while as this has a long time to completion and this is a handy thing to remember while you are playing. Just look at how many times I have completed it over the length of my game time.. But I try do a nice chunk of the low energy missions as that can net a nice amount of Starbits which you will see the max below for me, due to number of fans and skill I have.

Low energy cost missions and best suited to when you can start them soon after they finish, to try maximise earning potential and use of the pizza or other energy buffers you have!

I have been doing a lot, sitting at over 1000 Local Mini Tour Support missions as this allows me to check back later or in the morning.

I am able to get up to 852 starbits just for doing 1 mission of the very first mission! Big difference to when you first start and can get up to 10 or 15 starbits max, or somewhere around there.. I forget.

I have refined what missions I do more often now because there are so many more varieties and due to having 4 pizza slices (from doing the special events brough in like the Christmas Elf one we just had) plus 2 coffee mugs and 2 pizza boxes, so I like to do shorter length missions and use more of the pizza slices and aim for earning more starbits!
