Four months since I started playing Rising Star and it's time for an update (also because it's been another month since the last post )
Another month of not playing assiduously, but I tried my best as always!
Recording all the time!
I continue to be erratic in my play, sometimes I forget to start quests and such, so I slow down my progress quite a bit!
We left off last month with the Valentine's Day card, and I spent the last week on quests to get the event cards, not many actually 4 violins and a guitar, one violin I gave to my personal guru @coccodema.
This has held me back a bit from the monthly goals, some not achieved by little or logic I would say.
I'm always wandering around the Local gig circuit and I tend to do mostly Record Demo missions, the maximum I can afford at the moment, sometimes I interrupt with some lessons, sometimes with 5-minute missions to better exploit the percentage of energy recharged and use the pizzas.

There are a few mission completion bonuses that are just a step away from being taken, I always promise myself that I need to work on them, but then convenience and habit always prevail... sooner or later I will!
The things that have been necessary in recent weeks have been:
- keeping the ego at bay by doing the music lessons.
- remembering to start the mission and having to revise after a while!

Improved in the Ranking compared to a month ago, which is to be expected as the time spent on the game, although reduced, was greater overall.
Starbits
81709 Starbits owned (sum of those in Rising Star's portfolio, Hive Engine's portfolio, and those invested in Record Stacking)
223374 Starbits earned since inception (includes card purchases and money invested in the Music Promoter)
- The Record a Demo mission has definitely increased my budget!
- The almost daily contests I participate in have earned me 7750 Starbits (and a few cards) this month.
- I've added another 12,000 Starbits to my Record Staking investment for a total of 32,000 from which I've earned back 972 Starbits (577 more in one month).
I'm still investing 1000 starbits in the newer songs, and in some of the ones I see performing better I'm going to increase it further. - A new form of earning which is still a bit cryptic for me is that of Music promoters, for the moment I have invested 8000 Starbits in total, I have already made 249, after betting 125 on something which I don't remember what it was, I have made 0.06 StarPro bringing my total to 0.09.
There are still aspects of this resource for me to figure out, but at the moment it doesn't seem that convenient, more on that after I hit the million!!!
- Ego
- This struggle with Ego I realise I'm overlooking, especially when I have many drunks adding to my fan pile. I've had Ego peaks of up to 18% and in those moments I've tried to do the lessons as much as possible, but without really caring too much! Otherwise I've always tried to get it under 10, but I'm far from zero! I need to buy a card that will allow me to reach 1000 fixed fans in view of level 50 which will allow me to do a new more profitable mission, and in that occasion I will aim to take a card with more skills than fans.
Cards
My card collection is rather slowed down, because I'm devoting my attention mainly to quests and Starbits accumulation, so I only bought a pizza box for 7125 Satbits (since I was getting pizza slices a lot and my box was always full) for the rest the cards I got are all free.

Situation as of 11 January 2022: 24 cards added for a total of 27 cards in my possession in addition to the initial one, 7 of which I bought and the others won in various contests and giveaways!

Targets set
Let's finally see how far I've come with my goals
I started from level 38 and now I'm at level 44, with a growth of 6 levels, not bad I would say considering that as you go up a level the score needed to go to the next one increases, but I'm still below my goals, even if just a little, so a little bit to catch up!
Here's what I set out to do:
- to keep the ego at around 0%, at most under 10%: I'd put a nice unfulfilled goal here: for the simple fact that I didn't care, I just thought I'd go as far as I could! ❌
- complete at least one mission of Record a Demo and Acoustic Tent: of course I didn't have the requirements and couldn't do the Acoustic Tent! ✅ ❌
Completing 700 quests within a month: this was achieved after a few weeks, I'm now at 768 ✅ * Completing 700 quests within a month: this was achieved after a few weeks, I'm now at 768 ✅ - Reaching level 45: I'm almost at level 44 and I've lost a week with the Valentine's Day missions, you have to have fun sometimes! ❌
- Reaching 1000 fans: I'm at 964, I know that I would only need one card to buy to fulfil the task, but I want to study it well and I haven't had enough time to do it.
- understand how the Music Promoter works: I studied a little bit and made some tests that didn't satisfy me at all, so I would say objective reached but not enough, they require time and resources and I need to evaluate if it's worth earning StarPro, for the moment I prefer Starbits ✅
In short, I would say a near disaster, but some of them really not so much, a little more effort would have been enough!
Next goals
Let's see now what to plan for next month, which is always difficult for me, but I always try! (Time and I are not always very good friends).
Within the next month I would like to be able to do these things:
- Keep the ego at around 5%, and never go over 10%.
- Unlock the Acoustic Tent mission and complete at least 25 of them.
- Complete 900 missions within a month
- reach level 50: a bit difficult, but let's try!
- Reach 1100 fans
- reaching 100000 Starbits in the in-game wallet
- reach 400000 Starbits earned since the beginning of the game

Quattro mesi da quando ho iniziato a giocare a Rising Star ed è ora di aggiornare la situazione (anche perché è passato un altro mese dall'ultimo post )
Altro mese di gioco non assiduo, ma ho cercato di fare del mio meglio come sempre!
Registrando tutto il tempo!
Continuo ad essere incostante nel mio giocare, a volte mi scordo di far partire le missioni e cose simili, per cui rallento abbastanza i miei progressi!
Ci siamo lasciati lo scorso mese con la carta di San Valentino, e ho dedicato l'ultima settimana alle missioni per ottenere le carte dell'evento, non molte in realtà 4 violini ed una chitarra, un violino l'ho regalato alla mia guru personale @coccodema.
Questo mi ha frenato un po' rispetto agli obiettivi mensili, alcuni non raggiunti per poco o per logica direi.
Sono sempre a spasso per il Local gig circuite e tendenzialmente svolgo per lo più missioni di Record Demo, il massimo che posso permettermi al momento, a volte intervallo con qualche lezione, a volte con delle missioni da 5 minuti per poter sfruttare meglio la percentuale di energia ricaricata e usare le pizze.

Ci sono alcuni bonus di completamento delle missioni che sono lì lì ad un passo dall'essere presi, mi riprometto sempre che devo lavorarci su, ma poi prevale sempre la convenienza e l'abitudine... prima o poi lo farò!

- tenere a bada l'ego svolgendo le lezioni di musica.
- ricordarsi di aver avviato la missione e di dover ripassare dopo tot tempo!

Migliorata nel Ranking rispetto ad un mese fa, cosa prevedibile visto il tempo dedicato al gioco, per quanto ridotto è stato complessivamente maggiore.

- La missione Record a Demo ha decisamente incrementato il mio budget!
- I contest a cui partecipo quasi quotidianamente mi hanno permesso di guadagnare questo mese 7750 Starbits (e qualche carta).
- Ho aggiunto altri 12.000 Starbits al mio investimento nei Record Staking per un totale di 32.000 da cui ne ho riguadagnati 972 (577 in più in un mese).
Continuo ad investire 1000 starbits sulle canzoni più recenti, e in qualcuna di quelle che vedo rendere meglio punto 2000, piano piano le aumenterò ancora. - Nuova forma di guadagno ancora un po' criptica per me è quella delle Music promoter, per il momento ci ho investito 8000 Starbits in totale, me ne sono diventati già 249, dopo aver scommesso 125 su qualcosa che ora neanche ricordo cosa fosse, ne ho ricavato 0,06 Starpro portando il mio totale a 0,09.
Ci sono ancora aspetti di questa risorsa da capire per me, ma al momento non mi sembra così conveniente, se ne riparlerà dopo aver raggiunto il milione!!!
Ego
- Questa lotta con l'Ego mi rendo conto che la sto tralasciando, soprattutto quando ho molti ubriaconi che si aggiungono al mio cumulo fan. Ho avuto picchi di Ego anche del 18% e in quei momenti ho cercato di fare le lezioni il più possibile, ma senza badarci davvero troppo! Per il resto ho cercato sempre di averlo sotto al 10, ma sono ben lontana dallo zero! Devo acquistare una carta che mi permetta di raggiungere i 1000 fan fissi in vista del livello 50 che mi permetterà di fare una nuova missione più redditizia, e in quell'occasione punterò a prendere una carta con più skill che fan.
Carte
La mia raccolta di carte è piuttosto rallentata, perché sto dedicando la mia attenzione principalmente alle missioni e all'accumulo di Starbits, ho quindi acquistato solo un cartone della pizza per 7125 Satbits (visto che mi stava capitando spesso di ricevere fette di pizza e la mia box era sempre piena) per il resto le carte ottenuto sono tutte gratuite.

Obiettivi prefissati
Arriviamo finalmente a vedere a che punto sono arrivata con i miei obiettivi
Partivo dal livello 38 ed ora sono al 44, con una crescita di 6 livelli, non male direi considerando che man mano che si sale di livello cresce anche il punteggio necessario per passare a quello successivo, ma resto comunque al di sotto degli obiettivi prefissati, seppur di poco, quindi qualcosina da recuperare!
Ecco cosa avevo prefissato:
- mantenere l'ego ad un valore intorno allo 0%, al massimo sotto il 10%: metterei un bell'obiettivo non raggiunto qui: per il semplice fatto che non ci ho badato, ho solo pensato ad andare avanti come potevo! ❌
- completare almeno una missione di Record a Demo e di Acoustic Tent: ovviamente non avendo i requisiti non ho potuto svolgere l'Acoustic Tent! ✅ ❌
- completare 700 missioni entro un mese: soglia raggiunta dopo un apio di settimane, ora sono a 768 ✅
- raggiungere il livello 45: per poco sono al 44 e ho perso una settimana con le missioni san valentino, ogni tanto bisogna pure divertirsi! ❌
- raggiungere i 1000 fans: sono a 964, so che mi basterebbe una carta da comprare per soddisfare il compito, ma voglio studiarmela bene e non ho avuto abbasta calma per farlo: ❌
- capire come funzionano le Music Promoter: ho studiato un pochino e fatto delle prove che non mi hanno soddisfatto per niente, per cui direi obiettivo raggiunto ma non sufficiente, richiedono tempo e risorse e bisogna valutare se valga la pena guadagnare StarPro, per il momento preferisco gli Starbits ✅
Insomma un quasi disastro direi, ma alcuni davvero per poco, sarebbe bastato un pizzico di impegno in più!
Prossimi obiettivi
Vediamo ora cosa mettere in programma per il prossimo mese, cosa che mi resta sempre difficile, ma ci provo sempre! (io e la scansione del tempo non sempre siamo molto amici)
Entro il prossimo mese vorrei poter fare queste cose:
- mantenere l'ego ad un valore intorno allo 5%, e mai andare oltre il 10%
- sbloccare la missione Acoustic Tent e completarne almeno 25
- completare 900 missioni entro un mese
- raggiungere il livello 50: un po' difficilino, ma tentiamo!
- raggiungere i 1100 fans
- raggiungere i 100000 Starbits nel portafoglio interno al gioco
- raggiungere i 400000 Starbits guadagnati dall'inizio del gioco
