Big Mack ~ Lemon Drop Cookies update

in #hive-1957083 years ago
Howdy weed nerds, I hope everyone is good. I made some major changes to the 3 x 3 photo tent. First off the weather changed for the better and I needed room in the tent so I put the BM and the LDC outside to ripen and finish off. They enjoyed a good 7 days before Jack Frost came back for a day and froze them both. So they got chopped. They were both showing cloudy trichomes. I will prolly use for bubble hash. But damn the Apple Fritter Diesel male is dead. I was waiting for it to drop some pollen.

On another note.....

I came across an opportunity to procure some MAC and Cheese pollen so, of course, I jumped on it. I used some on an Apple Fritter x Sour Diesel. I would love to hit a Big Mack with some. I am going to re-freeze what I have left until I need it, hopefully it will still be viable when i pick a nice BM.

Here's a pic before the freeze....

Apple Fritter x Sour Diesel

here she is before she started stretshing, the petioles of this strain get extremely long. It does help by not blocking the bud sites

Nice one, Coming along really well

Thanks brother

Nice work with the breeding.

And I always like to see somebody who's going to breed do so with traditional methods.

Do you have any direction that you're going?

And we're going to be having the Portland Oregon 420 meet up here pretty soon if you show up I'll totally give you a bunch of name brand seeds that I've got stashed away. Personally I need to get to actually planning some of those this year.

Thanks man, I started as a means to produce my own seed stock. I like the structure of the AF x SD it is very open, long leaf petioles. But it could benefit with a little improvement. I havent worked with that many diffferent strains to familiar with thier stucture. I am very familiar with Mac & Cheese from working with jons Big Mack. I am hoping the Mac and cheese blend well with her. From what I have seen Caps Mac and cheese makes everything better...lol my original plan was to just pollinate with the male AFSD but as i mentioned in the post i lost it.

Okay well honestly enough at least you're not trying to do frankinseeds.

And absolutely having a direction to go with your breeding is something that absolutely is necessary and needed.

Sounds like you are proceeding in a direction.

Hopefully you take extra steps to stabilize your genetics?

Personally I tend to support the more pest resistant as well as mold and mildew resistant plants myself. That and of course the ones that have a really good THC percentage.

Thank you so very much for your posting and content.

Thank you brother I welcome your input.

You're very welcome I can't wait to see what your breeding results in.

Are you going to come to the 420 meet up this year?

Thats a nice looking plant! Man I was wanting to grow some Apple Fritter. I never have smoked it, but every time I have seen it in the club, it impresses me.

Just give me the word and some beans are yours. AF was touted as one of the strongest strains. But now they have strains in the 30's
Depending on the final product I'm going to work with it a bit
