It's been ages! I know. I feel like a prodigal daughter. How are we all doing? @ksam @utymarvel @mhizerbee @Obara @Sholex @glowie @jessicaossom and every other person I might not remember to mention, how have you guys been?
I'm glad to finally be able to show up after about a month break.
My choice of song, Ascend by Victoria Orienze was more like a last minute decision. Yesterday I was in church after two weeks of not showing up. I stayed back from church for not very valid reasons. Everything was suddenly tiring. Apart from the fact that I got involved in something that took most of my time and left me too exhausted on Sundays, I just wasn't feeling like being in church.
I just went yesterday with no expectations. During the choir ministration, I felt like my burdens were taken away. The choir sang this song that I just presented and it was awesome.
I felt like I was commanded to 'arise' just like a line in the song says: we must arise.
This song is quite empowering. It took all my self doubts and low self esteem away. The outstanding lines for me are the ones that said:
We're called out, we are chosen we're kings we are priests...
We bring order, we bring fire, we bring light to a lost generation!🔥🔥🔥
I suddenly felt so sad in my spirit, for underestimating the power of the Holy spirit at work in me, for forgetting who I am and He that is in me.
Therefore, I urge us all to work this week as Kings and priests, as people who have dominion, as people who posses power and bring light to this lost generation. Let us shine!
