Hello everyone, welcome to another wonderful and awesome week, my name is @edeincj and I am very happy and excited to be here with you all again this wonderful and awesome week, this week has been very interesting and amazing, and i an enjoying every part of it. This week again we were given a very interesting music that has a very interesting one, and i hope that we all are going to put in our best in this topic.
The topic that was given to us is "THE POWER AND INFLUENCE OF MUSIC ON CULTURE AND IDENTITY". Music has a very great influence on culture and society, because every culture have different music that they all sing and those songs can identify and differentiate you from other different society or cultures. Music have different use and can be used for different purposes, we all will agree that every tribe and culture have their different songs that they all listen to, and they all have their taste of music which might be different from other cultures.
In as much as the modern generation loves music, so do the older generation too, and thier love for music was an achaic type that could differenciate them from others, every tribe and language have their types or taste of music, and that is one of the major ways that you can know any indigen of any tribe of language.
Where I live, we have many tribes, one of which are the Hausa tribe, the Yoroba tribe, The Igbo tribe, and many more, but this three tribes are the main are well known tribe in where I live which is Nigeria. And all this tribes have their different music's with different languages according to their tribes. Every tribes speaks different languages so they all produce their songs with their language which them alone can understand, and this is the way to know how is from a specific and and who is not from the tribe.
I am Igbo by tribe, so I know many Igbo songs, and they are all in igbo language. At least I can be diffrenciated from other tribes through the kind of music that I sing and through my accent.
Music is just generally a very good means of communicating, but to your different languages and tribes, and most of the songs that are created using languages have great meanings that only those who are of that tribe or who lived with those tribes can explain.
This weeks topic is very great and I tried my best to bring out everything I knew in this entry, I hope that you all will participate so that I can also learn from yours. Thanks for stopping, hope to see you all next week and have a wonderful week and weekend. Bye.
