Hello lovelies 🌹
Welcome to another week of the afritunes performance. I'm pleased to have you watch my entry for this. The week is a very hectic one but I'm happy I've been able to take out time for my entry. I'm really stressed. I think you should see that on my face and body 😩😩
For the week's performance, I chose to do another original song that was composed for our choir. This song is titled, "At Your Feet". You know I'm not really good at secular musics, therefore, I do gospel for now till I'm able to do both☺️. This song is sung about God. This song talks about how we humble ourselves to Jesus whenever we are at His presence and even the creatures in heaven and on Earth bow to Him alone.
Each verse of this song reveals elements of faith, gratitude, surrender, and redemption. The words "feet" and "throne" make it clear that God is in charge and has power. The idea that all creatures in heaven and on earth bow down shows that everyone recognizes and respects God's power. The line "we've come to you in humbleness" is said over and over again to show that people are giving up and realizing their own limits in the face of God's power.
This song also speaks of the unique abilities attributed to God on the line where it says, 'for you have done what no man has done'. And he has won the victory over sin, death, and any form of hardship, a victory that we couldn't achieve on our own. Also, the ability to smile again and the end of 'wasted years' hint at a past of sorrow, struggle, or spiritual estrangement that has now been overcome through faith in God. I hope this song hints you with a reason to rekindle your faith in God. Thank you for coming around🥰🥰
Song Lyrics
At your feet
At your throne
we've come to you in humbleness
All creatures in heaven
And all creatures on Earth
Will bow to you
We've come to you in humbleness
For you have done what no man has done
And you've won the victory
I can smile again
It's over now
My wasted years are over
You've given me victory at all side by
