It's a pleasure for me to participate in the Afri Tune Week 118 music competition. I have been following the activities of the people here and I must say that I am thrilled with the @afri-tune community for their effort at promoting African music.
Hence my participation for this week's competition came as a result of the song I have been listening to for some time now so I decided to bless my viewers with it. It's one of my favorite songs by Daps Dalyop Gwon “Gani nan”. It is a Hausa song sung in the Hausa language. I love this song because of the strong lyrics it has. The song is a song of commitment for all believers all over the world. It's also a song of Thanksgiving. The inspiration behind the song is that even though my Christian journey might be full of challenges but with the Holy Spirit, I can rest assured that I will work seamlessly to please God. Every believer needs the touch of God. And until every believer becomes like God in character and priority it will be hard to please God. Consequently, we have access to worship Him in spirit and truth
The interpretation of the song is this;
Here I've come with a desire for worship
Here I've come with mouth open wide
I want to speak my heart
The words of my song are not enough
Touch me till I become like you
Your word says that I have access
Access to worship you
Come and give me answers
I hope you will be thrilled by my presentation.
