Music is like my personal companion throughout the day. It’s not just something I listen to for fun—it’s part of my routine, my mood booster, my comfort zone. No matter what I’m doing, there’s always a song playing in the background, making everything feel a little better.
Honestly, i am currently in school and my daily routine isn’t anything special. I just wake up, have my bath, go to class, read, sleep, and get food. Same cycle almost every day. But what makes it interesting for me is how music naturally fits into everything I do.
Waking Up with Music
Mornings are never the same for me. Some days, I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the on the day. Other days, I just want to stay in bed a little longer, not in the mood to deal with anything. That’s where music comes in. I usually start my day with slow, calm songs—something soft to wake my mind up gently. Sometimes, I go for gospel songs, just to take a moment to thank God for waking me up safely. This usually sets the right tone for the day, making me feel at peace before I even step out of bed.
Shower Time, Music Time
Now, this is one of my favorite parts of the day. There’s just something about listening to music while taking a shower that makes it more enjoyable. The moment the water touches my skin, and the music starts playing, it’s like I’m in my own world. It’s weird how a song can sound completely different when you’re under the shower. Some songs make me feel calm and relaxed, while others give me a little energy boost to start the day properly. Either way, it just makes the whole process more fun.
Music While Reading
This is one thing people always find surprising about me—I love listening to music while reading. I know some people find it distracting, but for me, it actually helps me focus. There’s just something about having soft background music playing while I read that keeps me in the zone. Of course, I don’t go for loud, upbeat songs. I stick to mellow instrumentals or chill songs with soft vocals. I have actually found out that my brain connects better with what I’m reading when there’s a rhythm flowing in the background. Music always just makes me energised and gives me that motivation to keep on reading even when I feel stressed out or find my notes to be boring.
Unwinding at Night
At the end of the day, after all the stress, I still turn to music. Whether I’m lying on my bed scrolling through my phone or just getting ready to sleep, I like to end my day with something smooth and calming. Sometimes, I replay songs from earlier in the day, other times, I just let a random playlist take over. It helps me relax, clear my mind, and slowly drift off to sleep.
Music is actually a big part of my daily life. It lifts my mood, helps me concentrate, and even makes the most boring moments feel better. No matter how my day goes, there’s always a song that fits the moment perfectly. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thanks for reading.
